Dr Lou Christodoulou
Lou has been in full time general practice since 1983. He graduated from Adelaide University in 1980 and completed three years at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, post-graduation. He holds the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, Diploma of Obstetrics and Diploma of medical Hypnosis. He enjoys all aspects of General practice and has a special interest in Chronic Disease Management and the care of the elderly.
He speaks Greek and enjoys travelling, food, movies, golf, attending the gym and new experiences. He is married with two adult children.
Dr Michael Ludlow
Michael has been in full time general practice since 1989. He graduated from Flinders University in 1986 and has completed post graduate training in Family Medicine, holds a diploma in Obstetrics, and was awarded a Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2009. He is a member of the AMA and RACGP. He is passionate about General Practice and has special interest in Shared Obstetric Care, chronic disease management such as diabetes & heart disease, general dermatology and simple skin lesion excisions.
Other interests include running, cycling, sailing and visiting the gym. He follows most sports and is an avid crows fan. He loves to travel and experience other cultures. He is married with 2 adult children and 2 small fluffy white dogs!
Dr Charmaine Sargent
Charmaine graduated from Flinders University in 1986 and after further study became a fellow of the Royal College of general practitioners in 2009. She has also completed a Diploma in Obstetrics and is a qualified Lactation Consultant.
Charmaine worked for the Royal flying Dr service for 10 years providing services to rural women in remote locations within South Australia.
Charmaine is married and has two grown-up children. She enjoys time spent with her family, travelling and maintaining a life work balance.
Charmaine is interested in women’s health, shared Obstetric care, Palliative Care and Paediatrics. She is involved in teaching medical students and junior doctors. Charmaine loves general practice!
After working in this area for 25 years, she particularly loves seeing many generations from the same family which is both a privilege and the joy of being a family practitioner.
Dr Dennis Ankor
A graduate of the University of Adelaide, Dr Ankor started practising in this area in 1978.
He joined Wirreanda Clinic in 2002. He has completed further training in obstetrics (although he no longer practices in that area) and in mental health.
He has other interests in medicine including the provision of medical services to other health professionals and participation in the accreditation system in this country.
He has three adult offspring. As the years pass, Dr Ankor plans to spend more time in his favourite non-medical pursuits – travel, music, reading and foreign languages.
Dr Clare Keogh
I graduated from University of Adelaide in 2012. I then worked at the Royal Adelaide Hospital for 3 years including rotations in Obstetrics and Paediatrics at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital. I have completed my specialty training in General Practice in early 2018 and am now a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practice. I have also completed the Sydney Child Health Program (formerly known as the Diploma of Child Health), through Westmead Hospital in Sydney.
I have a keen interest in sexual and reproductive health, women’s health, paediatrics and chronic disease management. I particularly enjoy and am privileged to provide long term care to individuals and their families.
Outside of work I have keen interest in live music, travel and cooking. I enjoy spending time with my partner, family and puppy Jemima!
Dr Fleur Roxburgh
Fleur graduated from the University of Notre Dame (Sydney) in 2015. She then worked in the hospital for 3 years, including 12 months working in Paediatrics at Wollongong Hospital. She also completed the Sydney Child Health Program (formerly known as the Diploma of Child Health), through the Sydney Children’s Hospital Network.
Fleur is excited about the continuity of care GP offers to patients. She has a special interest in paediatrics and in palliative care.
She has just moved back to Adelaide after 8 years in Sydney and is loving being back. In her spare time, Fleur enjoys Pilates and yoga, and is an avid traveler – always planning her next adventure!
Dr Matthew Crabb
We welcome Matt back after completing his Specialist General Practice training. Matt is a permanent doctor working full time. Matt is also working on a Tuesday evening. Matt is married to Jess and they have an 18 month old son, Henry.
Kerrie has been with the practice since 2002. She has previously worked in other southern general practices since 1982. Kerrie has a Diploma of Management and Certificate IV in Business Management.
Kerrie enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel, food and shopping! She is married with 2 adult children.
Kirsty Registered Nurse
Kirsty is a qualified RN in the UK since 2005. Kirsty has worked in Orthopaedics then short term in Cardiac before General Practice. Kirsty and her family immigrated to Australia in 2007 and has worked at Wirreanda on Wheatsheaf Surgery for over 9 years.
Kirsty is married with two young children and enjoys family, going to the beach and camping holidays.
Marta Registered Nurse
After graduating at Flinders University I began my journey as a registered practice nurse at WOWS 3 years ago. Outside of work I enjoy leading an active lifestyle by playing handball and going for regular hikes.
Donna has worked at Wirreanda on Wheatsheaf for 14 years and has 26 years’ experience as a Medical Receptionist.
She enjoys socialising with her friends, wine tasting, live music, visits to the country and spending time with her 14 nieces & nephews.
Michelle has had 29 years of medical experience, 13 years with Wirreanda on Wheatsheaf. Michelle is married with 2 children, 1 at Uni & 1 at High School. Her interests include walking and holidaying on the Yorke Peninsula. She loves to travel with her family.
Rachel has worked here for approx 1½ years. Prior to this she has been a medical receptionist/typist working for Gastroenterologists on and off for around 15 years, having had a break in between while her children were young.
She has two children, a boy 12 and a girl 8. She enjoys socialising with friends, wine tasting, playing cards/board games, reading and playing tennis.
We are pleased to welcome Alicia to the WOWS team. Alicia comes to us from another southern suburbs practice and is keen to further her general practice career in medical admin. Alicia has over 2 years experience in Medical reception and 16 years Customer Service.
Alicia started with us in May 2018 as is enjoying working with the team at WOW.
Married with a young daughter who keeps me on my toes. Love spending quality time with family & socialising with friends. Enjoy painting landscapes.
