ABOUT WIRREANDA ON WHEATSHEAF

Located approximately 25kms south of the Adelaide CBD, in Morphett Vale Wirreanda on Wheatsheaf Surgery is a well-established, family based practice. Wirreanda Clinic moved from its original States Road location and merged with Dr Lou Christodoulou’s Wheatsheaf Road Surgery in June 2011.

Our Principal GP’s have been practicing in the area for 25-30 years and enjoy the long standing relationships we have built with our patients and their families over the years. Our practice has undergone a major renovation and we have good quality medical equipment.

We are currently welcoming applications from GP registrars for the first semester of 2024.

We have a long reputation of teaching at Wirreanda on Wheatsheaf and are pleased to continue this tradition.

A big congratulations to Dr Thu Dang who has recently completed her Specialty General Practice exams and training. Dr Dang is taking some well deserved leave after many years of hard work. We look forward to working with her further now that she has completed her training.

Dr Holmwood and Dr Keogh have now started consulting from 7.30am on Tuesday mornings to provide service to those who may struggle to get into the clinic during “regular” hours.

Last, but certainly not least, Dr Louis Christodoulou is retiring at the end of the year. He has a wealth of experience and is a well loved GP by both patients and colleagues. His skills and knowledge are well respected and he will be missed around the clinic. We congratulate him on his well deserved retirement and know that his wife and adult children will enjoy more of his company and he can further explore his love of travel. Big thank you to Louis!
